KEBT was founded by three female therapists who joined forces to build a group practice that would allow for quality services to be provided to the community. These services include: Supervision & Internship opportunities, a variety of group therapies, and an Intensive Outpatient Program for those struggling with substance use disorders.
Supervision is provided to students who are currently in their Master's Program for clinical mental health counseling or those who are post Master's degree working toward licensure. Internship opportunities are available year round for those who are working toward completing their Master's degree. If you are interested in joining our team please contact us using the link to your right.
Our current groups consist of DBT Skills groups, ran by Jada Helmer, LMHC-QS who is extensively trained in DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy). These groups are considered "closed groups" which means you start and end with the same group members from the beginning of groups to the end of groups. Seating is limited and available by clicking on the link to the right.
The IOP for substance use disorders is a group based program which is held Tuesday-Thursday from 6pm-9pm. This program is 21 days long and includes unlimited aftercare access. The program allows for treatment of the whole person and not just the addiction itself. Treatment used has been empirically validated by research and not just the opinion of the treatment team. Space is limited, if interested you can use the link to your right for more information.
